Lakisha Russell-Smith is a new mortgage lending officer at Home Federal Bank.
Home Federal Bank has announced the hiring of Lakisha Russell-Smith in its Mortgage Lending Division.
“We are excited about Lakisha joining the Home Federal Bank team,” said Jim Barlow, president of Home Federal Bank. “She is an experienced and knowledgeable lender who values customers in our community, and she will support the continued growth of our mortgage division.”
Russell-Smith joined HFB as a Mortgage Lending Officer this month. In this position, she will strive to make the dream of home ownership a reality for customers. She will be working from our Viking Drive branch.
Russell-Smith has worked locally in mortgage lending for 10 years. She is the president of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, and she also teaches first-time homebuyer classes. She specializes in several down payment assistance programs including the City of Shreveport’s HAPPI program, the Louisiana Housing Corporation’s Mortgage Revenue Bond program and the Federal Home Loan Banks' Affordable Housing Program.
Russell-Smith was born and raised in Shreveport and is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. She currently resides in Shreveport with her fiancé and three sons.
