Shreveport Parks and Recreation will donate new wigs and knitted lap blankets with matching hats to the American Cancer Society. The presentation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the SPAR Wildwood facility, 7401 Jewella.
Camille Webb, SPAR Supervisor of Senior Programs, coordinated the donation. “SPAR seniors enjoy making crafts to give to our community,” Webb said. “This is just a small way SPAR can support those fighting cancer and a way to show how much we care.”
